Semi-retirement
Hi Everyone - Here I am 4 weeks into my semi-retirement and am still looking for day 1. I don't know how I has time to work. Sat at my sewing machine the other day and start to embroider /applique some daffodils onto blocks to make a quilt. Designed by Dianne Johnston and digitised by Julie Hall. It really looks great when I finish the block you will see.
Each Tuesday I look after my three youngest grandchildren. Annabelle, Charlie and Tobias.
Thank you to those nice people who sent me a message on my blog, it was so exciting to read them.
Jenny and I finished our Variety quilt ready to be autioned early next month, proceeds going to the kids, it is such fun to make quilts for charity, everyone should try it, with so much fabric in our stash we could spare a few fat 1/4's for the kids.
By for now and have a great day. Wednesday 19th July 07.

I'm here at last !!!!
After weeks of contemplating I have finally done it with the help of my friend Jenny from Patches and Batches we are now setting up my blog. Over time I would like to show you how I pass the time at our Country Home at Campbells Forrest in Central Victoria. I am semi retired now after recently closing my Patchwork Shop .

This quilt was sewn at an all night patchwork event at Hobbysew Bendigo Commencing at 4pm Saturday night and finished 7am Sunday morning. The quilt top named Little Boxes was completed in the night. A great time was had by all.
I'm still conducting classes on a weekly basis in a church hall. If I can be of any help in passing on patchwork, quilting or machine embroidery tip I will be happy to help.
